Took the new cam (T2i) out to the river this afternoon, to embarrass myself. I noticed a beautiful duck sauntering by the rocks so I went to town shooting for about an hour. After importing the photos and zooming in I now see the duck is a fake.
Guess this explains why he was lacking movement… and not blinking.
As @BritInCanada mentioned, I think it’s time to upgrade to the 250mm lens. At the very least I should have my eyes checked. FAIL!
