If you’re a product of the 80′s, as I am, then you will probably remember the Garbage Pail Kids craze.
Topps, the company best known as a leading producer of sports trading cards in the US, launched a line of disgusting cartoon representations of kids and packaged them in trading card packs, stickers and finally a full feature movie.
The world of the Garbage Pail Kids was a dark parody on our beloved Cabbage Patch Kids franchise. Topps released the GP kids as part of their Wacky Packages line which featured a series of silly trading cards based on popular North American products. With names like Patty Puke and Victor Vomit, the Garbage Pail Kids easily made their way into my 8 year old heart.
Once again the iPhone has brought us another blast-from-the-past app returning our childhood toys to us in app format.
The GarbagePail app will enable you to create, upload and share your very own GPK trading card free.
Below are screen shots of the free version but if you’re a die hard GPK fan you may want to fork over the .99 for additional accessories and the ability to embed your face.
